Slow Pitch softball offers a fun and recreational game with 10 players on each side and in which each pitch must have a higher arc.  Unlike Fastpitch, base stealing is not allowed. Slow Pitch usually offers more scoring, offense, and plays in the field due to the style of the game.

GYSA offers Spring Recreational Teams for Slow Pitch in two divisions for girls from ages 9 to 21. Teams in each division play a series of games at home based on the number of teams and a series of games in Brownsburg within the Brownsburg Girls Softball League with whom GYSA has formed a partnership.

Slow Pitch teams play in late Spring and early Summer with a season ending tournament in all divisions in Brownsburg. Slow Pitch seasons generally end in early July.

Slow Pitch Divisions:

• Junior - 9 through 13 years
• Senior -13 through 21 years
